Our Classes

Three levels, and everyone starts in the same place: Soaring Beginners. You’ll be fitted to a harness and taught the basics before you leave the ground.

Bungee fitness classes in St. Augustine

Every flyer starts in the same class

There are three levels here — Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced — but only one way in. Everyone’s first class is Soaring Beginners, whatever shape you’re in: you’ll be fitted into your harness one-on-one, learn the basic footwork and get comfortable in the air before anything moves quickly.

The only decision left is when. Pick a time on the schedule, or start with the new-flyer intro and your first three classes are covered.

The progression

Start in Beginners. Build from there.

Each level moves faster than the one below it and adds new skills on top of the ones you already have. Below is exactly what each class is, in the studio’s own words.

Soaring Beginners

Level 1 · slower pace · no experience needed

Soaring Beginners is a class designed to introduce you to Bungee Fitness. You will learn proper techniques for bungee fitness, basic footwork of bungee fitness, and safety skills in the harness. This class will be focused on skills and introducing cardio to the workout. This class will go at a slower pace than Soaring Intermediate, which is a medium level of cardio fitness. This is a great class for introducing cardio back into your workout.

Soaring Intermediate

Level 2 · medium pace

Soaring Intermediate will build your endurance as the class moves at a medium pace. You will continue to learn new skills. You will be Soaring into a medium cardio workout.

Prerequisite: at least 1 Soaring Beginners class.

Your first class, step by step

What day one actually looks like

It runs in a set order, and the clock matters more here than at a normal gym — every station is rigged for one specific person. Three things to know before you walk in.

  1. Step 1

    Arrive 15 minutes early

Your station is set up for you specifically, and that takes time. Fifteen minutes covers it — plus the health questionnaire and waiver on your first visit. Want to skip the paperwork? E-sign it in the WellnessLiving app before you come.

  2. Step 2

Get fitted, one at a time

An instructor fits your harness personally, matches the bungee cords to your body, then walks you through how to hang, push off and land. It’s one-on-one on purpose — the right fit is what makes flying feel safe.

  3. Step 3

The doors lock at start time

Once class begins, the doors lock — nobody can walk into a room full of flying people, for their safety and yours — and out of respect for the flyers already in the air, we won’t stop the session. Give yourself the fifteen minutes.

What to wear, what to bring

All of it comes down to one thing: the harness. Dress so it sits comfortably against you, pack what makes flying easier — and don’t come on a full stomach.

What to wear

The harness rests against your legs, hips and waist — fitted layers keep it comfortable, with nothing loose to catch or ride up mid-flight.

  • Leggings or yoga pants — the harness sits directly against your legs and hips
  • A fitted shirt or tank top that stays put upside down — tucked in works
  • A high-impact sports bra, if applicable
  • Non-slip tennis shoes
  • For men: supportive, fitted clothing — loose basketball shorts and boxers are not recommended

What to bring

Two things, really: water, and padding for the spots where the harness presses. Feeling it on your thighs at first is completely normal — padding is the fix.

  • Water — you’ll want it
  • Sweet Sweat wraps, if you have them
  • A pair of thick seat-belt covers for your legs

Eating beforehand

Bouncing on a bungee with a full stomach is nobody’s friend — give whatever you eat time to digest before you fly.

  • A protein bar or a piece of fruit at least an hour before class works well
  • Skip the large meal right before — there’s no comfortable way through that

Not sure about something?

Ask before you book — an outfit question, a knee, where you sit in the weight range. We answer every message, and there’s no sales pitch attached.

The honest part

Bungee isn’t for everyone. We’d rather tell you now.

Every rule here exists for one reason: the harness has to hold you safely. If you’re not sure whether one applies to you, ask before you book — we get this question every week, and nobody minds you asking.

  • Weight range

The harness is rated for flyers between 90 and 250 lbs — this one has no exceptions.

  • Pregnancy

    You cannot fly while pregnant.

  • Recent surgery

Surgery in the past 6 months means sitting out — unless your doctor has cleared you to exercise.

  • Current injuries

An injury that hasn’t been cleared by a doctor keeps you out of the harness — for now.

  • Neck & back conditions

Chronic neck or back conditions need a doctor’s clearance to exercise before you fly.

  • Age 13 and up

Flyers aged 13–17 need a parent present to sign the waiver, and must weigh at least 90 lbs.

Private events

Book the studio for your group

One booking, the whole studio: $229 for 2–8 people. Birthdays, Bachelorettes, Girls’ Night, Team Building — it runs like a Beginner class, so everyone gets fitted, everyone flies, and it’s a real workout dressed up as a party.

Private events are booked by phone, not online — buying something on the site won’t hold your date. Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll put it on the calendar together.
