Straight answers before you book
These are the questions we get asked most, answered in the studio’s own words — the weight limit, what to wear, when to arrive, and exactly how cancellation works. Nothing here is hidden in the small print.
Can I do this?
This is the first thing almost everyone asks, so it goes first. The limits below exist for one reason: a harness has to hold you safely. If you sit outside them, or you’re not sure whether you do, ask us before you buy anything.
Are there any health or weight restrictions?
Yes. Restrictions are in place to ensure the safety and success of participants:
- There is a strict weight requirement, 90–250 lbs
- You cannot be pregnant
- If you have had surgery in the past 6 months you cannot participate, unless cleared by a doctor
- If you have current injuries and have not been cleared by a doctor to exercise
- If you have chronic neck or back conditions and haven’t been cleared by your doctor to exercise
- Age requirement 13 and up — if between 13–17 years old, a parent must be present to sign the waiver. All flyers must weigh at least 90 lbs
Not sure whether one of those applies to you?
Send us the specifics and we’ll tell you honestly whether bungee is a fit — before you spend anything. We answer every message, and there is no sales pitch attached.
Before you come
Six things worth knowing the first time. The short version: fitted clothes, non-slip shoes, your own water, and arrive fifteen minutes early — the doors lock once class starts.
What should you wear to bungee class?
We recommend clients wear leggings or yoga pants, a high impact sports bra (if applicable), a fitted shirt/tank top with non-slip tennis shoes. For men, please wear supportive, fitted clothing. Loose basketball shorts and boxers are NOT recommended.
What should I bring to a bungee class?
Bring your own water and any padding you may need. We recommend Sweet Sweat wraps and a pair of thick seat belt covers for the legs. Discomfort may occur and can be mitigated with extra padding.
Should I eat before a bungee class?
If you choose to eat prior to class, please allow enough time for digestion. We recommend a protein bar or piece of fruit at least an hour before class. Eating a large meal immediately before class is NOT recommended.
When should I arrive to my bungee class?
Bungee stations are tailored to the individual and the set-up process takes time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to help ensure class starts on time. DO NOT BE LATE as our doors lock once class has started. We do this so that no one can walk in while class is in session, risking injury to themselves or our class participants. Out of respect to those currently engaged in a class, we will not stop a session to accommodate late-comers. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
Do we take walk ins?
We have a limited number of bungee stations available, so we recommend clients pre-book online. You are always welcome to walk in to see if any spots are available, but please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before class starts.
Do we provide child care?
Unfortunately no, we do not have child care available and children are not permitted to stay or observe class.
Policies
Cancelling, being cancelled on, and the waiver everyone signs. Stations are limited, so the 12-hour rule is what keeps a held spot from going to waste.
What happens if I need to cancel a bungee class?
If you need to cancel, you will do so through our Soaring Bungee Fitness app. You must cancel 12 hours in advance to get your pass back. Your pass will be used if you do NOT show up to class and fail to cancel within the allotted time.
What is the protocol for the business cancelling a bungee class?
If a class is cancelled it will be due to: minimum class size not reached, inclement weather, emergency maintenance or personal emergency. Clients will receive notifications via email or text and will get their pass back.
Do I need to sign a waiver for bungee?
Yes. All participants must fill out and sign our health questionnaire and liability waiver before they can take any class. You will e-sign on the WellnessLiving app or fill out a paper copy in-person.
Still have a question we haven’t answered? Send it to us and we’ll get back to you.
