The journey to health: mind, body, & soul

Discover which primary foods you are missing, and how to infuse joy and satisfaction into your life.

While on my health journey at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, this was an exercise that they recommended. It made me think about how my life looked at that point in time. The question was, “what does YOUR life look like?” You place a dot on the line in each category to indicate how satisfied you are in each area of your life at this point in time. You will then connect the dots to see your Circle of Life. This exercise will help you identify imbalances and determine where to spend more time and energy to create balance in your life.

I feel as women we always rush to help everyone else, while neglecting ourselves. We can not “give” on an empty tank, because that leaves nothing to give. Engaging in a self-care routine has been clinically proven to reduce or eliminate anxiety and depression, reduce stress, improve concentration, minimize frustration and anger, increase happiness, improve energy, and more, according to the Southern New Hampshire University.

Whatever you choose for self-care should not make you feel stressed or anxious. Take time for yourself and renew your mind, body, and soul. You are worth it!

Blessings,
Elizabeth
